The SVS SB17 Ultra R|Evolution is the company’s flagship sealed subwoofer and is the ultimate development of everything they know about subwoofers – which is a lot. The all-new 17 inch woofer with dual 8 inch coils is paired to dual mono amps with massive power, delivering truly ground-shaking power and bass extension. What’s more, this torrent of power is kept firmly in control via a 295MHz DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and is managed by SVS’s most sophisticated app control yet.

All-new 17 inch driver for incredible bass depth
SVS’s ultimate bass driver is its most technologically advanced and delivers devasting bass power. Weighing more than many subwoofers in their entirety (28.9kg), the massive woofer cone isn’t just wide but also long in throw, meaning that it shifts a huge amount of air for bass that you can feel. For absolute control it uses the first ever dual 8 inch coils, meaning that the bass isn’t just deep but incredibly hard-hitting, too.

Endless power for formidable bass slam
Keeping the sledgehammer power under tight control, is a dual mono amplifier with unprecedented power. Combined with the 295MHz Analog Devices DSP (Digital Signal Processor) this gives pinpoint precision and the highest level of control. It’s thanks to these technologies that the sub never sounds overblown or boomy but lifelike and true to the original recording.

Enhanced smartphone app control
Available for Apple iOS, Android and Amazon Fire platforms, the SVS control app gives precision control of your subwoofer. For the first time, Auto Room Equalisation* uses the smartphone’s mic to automatically measure and adjust the subwoofer’s settings to suit your room’s acoustics. The app also lets you access all the DSP functions including volume, six preset EQs, low pass filter, phase, polarity, room gain compensation, power management settings and more.

Built to stand the test of time
Featuring a highly reinforced MDF cabinet, the SB17 Ultra R|Evolution provides resonance-free, low distortion sound and is built to last. Screw-in Iso-elastomer feet help damp the cabinet and improve stability. Choose between Gloss Black or Black Oak finishes for the best match for your room. A non-resonant grille is also supplied, keeping the woofer protected when needed.
