Controlled Performance for optimal sound and isolation
The Monitor Audio C3L-CP is fitted with a fully-sealed back box for Controlled Performance (CP). Fitting a back box increases the mounting depth so won’t suit all installations but it does optimise the sound quality and help isolate the speaker’s sound from interlinked rooms. The back box is designed to provide the ideal air load, giving a consistent mid-range and bass level, whatever the ceiling construction. It also reduces sound from the rear of the speaker by around 30dB, making it ideal for isolating the sound from the room above.

Monitor Audio’s Inverted Dual Concentric (IDC) speaker module positions dedicated tweeter and mid-range units on the same axis. When combined with the UD waveguide II system, it delivers precise, highly focused sound with superior acoustic transparency and lifelike realism.

Easy to install
Using Monitor Audio’s enhanced Tri-Grip II installation system, the C3L-CP is quick and easy to install. Once in position, the three-point support holds the speaker securely. Patented Quik-Link speaker cable connectors speed up installation, saving considerable time when wiring up a multiroom system.

With its flush-fitting, magnetically attached grille, the C3L-CP blends seamlessly with the ceiling. For an even more discreet finish, the grille can be spray painted to precisely match your ceiling colour.
