Step up to the Denon AVRX540BT and enjoy true surround sound - just like at the cinema!

True surround sound

Soundbars and bases offer a great improvement in sound over your TV's speakers. All but the most expensive, however, can't deliver the totally immersive sound that you get from a 5.1 home cinema receiver like the Denon AVR-X540BT. With Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, you get surround sound that's pin-sharp in detail and totally enveloping - just like at the cinema.

Top quality sound
As you'd expect from one of the world's leading hi-fi companies, the AVR-X540BT has been designed with sound quality as a priority. At the heart of this Denon AV receiver is fully discrete amplification. By using discrete (separate) components rather than a single chip, quality components can be used for a more detailed, low noise sound quality. With 75watts for each channel, the AVRX540BT has plenty of power for even the most intense action movies.

Optimised for 4K UHD and HDR
The AVR-X540BT features flexible HDMI connectivity. It has a total of five HDMI inputs, three of which are compatible with advanced formats. These three inputs support HDR, BT.2020, Wide Colour Gamut and HDCP2.2 which means you can play UHD Blu-ray discs and stream UltraHD video in the highest quality.

Flexible inputs, including USB
With its handy USB input at the front, you can connect up your media device and playback digital media files. Around the back there are two analogue and two optical digital inputs - ideal for connecting up a games console, set-top box, CD player and other source.

Connect up with Bluetooth and Denon's app
Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, it's not just cinema sound that's given a boost but music from your smartphone or tablet, too. There's even a dedicated Denon app that makes streaming music from your device to receiver even easier. The app also controls functions such as power on/off, volume, mute and source select.

Easy to set-up and use
Connecting up an AV receiver for the first time can be a daunting experience; but not with the Denon AVRX540BT. All the inputs at the rear are clearly labelled and easy to locate. Once wired up, the Setup Assistant via onscreen display makes the final steps easy to complete. A speaker calibration microphone is included and means you get the very best sound possible with the least hassle.

Compatible with HEOS Link
Plug in an optional Denon HEOS Link and you'll be able to turn the AVR-X540BT into the heart of your multi-room, music streaming system. The HEOS Link adds features such as Internet Radio plus access to popular music services like Spotify, Deezer and Tidal. The free HESO app also controls certain functions on the receiver.

Sit back with your popcorn and enjoy cinema sound exactly as it should be, with the Denon AVRX540BT.
