Using twin sets of compact, 2-way speakers in a slim, wall mountable cabinet means these speakers are tailor-made for home cinema. At the flick of a switch, you can also change the sound characteristics from di-pole (diffused) to bi-pole (direct) for the exact type of surround sound you require.

Sealed cabinets and included wall mounts for flexible positioning
Unlike nearly all conventional standmount speakers, that need placing away from a wall, the Gold FX speakers are designed to work at their best when placed flat against the wall. Thanks to their sealed cabinet and angled baffles, the speakers work with the wall rather than against it, in providing sound reinforcement. Dedicated and flexible wall brackets are also included.

MPD treble units for stunning top-end resolution
Derived from the flagship Platinum range, MPD tweeters use a Micro Pleated Diaphragm to deliver stunning top-end detail. By pleating the tweeter’s shape, the surface area is increased eight-fold. Working by squeezing the pleats, like a super-fast accordion, gives the treble an incredible response – right up to 50,000Hz. What this means is you get uncompressed harmonics for a spacious and life-like top-end performance.

Bass precision
Using RDT II (Rigid Diaphragm Technology), the bass/mid woofer units deliver total precision. Constructed from a hybrid sandwich of Nomex and woven carbon fibre, they deliver the ideal balance of lightness and rigidity. This means they respond with alacrity to every note – matching the tweeter’s precision to give totally life-like sound effects.

Choice of luxurious finishes
As with the other Gold-Series speakers, the finishes are sumptuous. Choose Dark Walnut or Piano Ebony for a rich, traditional style or Piano Gloss Black or Satin White for a more contemporary appeal.
