The 6" bass cones and 3" mid-range units feature the latest version of Monitor Audio’s distinctive RST (Rigid Surface Technology). Inspired by the Japanese art of Origami, RST II uses lightweight cones that are made more rigid by complex surface pressings. The result is sound that’s fast to respond and that gives a powerful sense of rhythm.

Cabinet design that reduces distortion
As well as looking great, the handcrafted cabinets are exceptionally well built. Highly developed cabinet bracing keeps the cabinet as rigid as possible. Ultra-low cabinet distortion lets the drive units perform unimpeded, giving you the clearest and most natural sound going. For enhanced stability, outrigger feet are supplied. Use with spikes for carpet or rubber feet for hard floors.
