For the highest level of sound quality, from all your digital sources, the SACD 30n is a great place to start. Disc playback for CD and SACD is covered, as is a wide range of streaming. With wi-fi, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 on board, all your favourite services, such as Spotify, TIDAL, Apple Music and Amazon Prime Music are easy to access. There’s vTuner for Internet Radio and DLNA compatible network streaming, too. You can even use the SACD 30n as a DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) by simply plugging your other digital sources into the back.

Painstakingly developed over three years, the SACD 30n took hundreds of hours of Marantz’s finest technicians to produce this labour of love. The SACD 30n is built to a dedicated, discrete circuit design, meaning it uses dozens of carefully selected components and a dedicated headphone amp, rather than combining them together. With Marantz’s own HDAM modules fitted, the sound is tuned with absolute precision.

Sonic precision – with HDAM
This source uses Marantz's own HDAM (Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Module) circuits. These bespoke op-amps use surface-mount metal-film resistors for greater temperature stability. The result is cleaner, less distorted sound that’s delivered with perfect clarity.

With both Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 connectivity, it's easy to connect all your smartphones, tablets and compatible lap/desktops and stream music wirelessly. The SACD 30n also comes with wi-fi, Internet radio and DLNA. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or wi-fi and access thousands of Internet radio sites via vTuner as well as subscription services such as Spotify Connect (Premium Spotify account required), Tidal, Deezer and Amazon Prime Music. DLNA compatibility lets you stream from other sources such as your laptop or NAS drive.

Voice control via Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices
For the latest in smart home tech, the SACD 30n is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices. Simply download the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill app and then just ask Alexa or the Google Assistant to perform functions such as volume and source selection. Using the Apple Home App, Siri voice control from your Apple iOS device brings added functionality over AirPlay 2 – including grouping devices.

HEOS built-in - for the finest multi-room audio

CD and SACD playback
As one of the very first CD player manufacturers, you can be assured of class-leading sound from your silver discs. To move the game on, try it with Hi-Res SACD discs. These Direct Stream Digital (DSD) discs offer far higher resolution than ordinary CDs and are similar in resolution to 24-bit music files. The result is a more natural sound, revealing subtle detail and texture in the music.

Plug in your TV, games console and more - A DAC for all your digital sources
As well as digital outputs the SACD 30n also comes with four digital inputs. This means that you can connect up to four sources via a choice of USB-B, optical (2) or coaxial. Boosted by the Marantz’s internal electronics, pretty much any digital source with a digital output can have its sound improved by being connected up.

Hi-Res music compatible
The quality sound continues with the Hi-Res music compatibility. The SACD 30n is able to stream Hi-Res 192kHz/24 bit signals through all its digital inputs. Connect via the USB-B input and the player extends this to 384kHz/32 bit files and it also decodes DSD files right up to 11.2MHz.

Asynchronous USB input for great sound from your computer
At the rear of the SACD 30n is a USB-B socket that’s designed for connecting up to your PC or Mac (PCs may require a software driver uploading). Once connected, the asynchronous link means that your soundcard is bypassed with the audio sound processing now handled by the Marantz. Using its own premium digital to analogue processing, the sound quality from your PC or Mac is greatly enhanced.
