The purest top-end response
Based on the design from Q Acoustics’ top-end Concept models, the hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated tweeter units deliver a super-smooth top-end response. Mechanical decoupling effectively isolates the tweeter from vibrations, letting you hear every detail in the recording, no matter how subtle.

Continuous Curved Cone for seamless sound
Q Acoustics’ advanced C3 (Continuous Curved Cone) woofer unit transforms the sound of this impressive speaker. Advanced cabinet design for the purest sound
For the purest, most natural sound, Q Acoustics have applied science and innovative engineering. Featuring HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer) technology, distortion is reduced to a minimum. Larger speaker cabinets tend to build up pressure in specific areas, causing resonance and cabinet distortion. By equalising the pressure around the cabinet, the pressure is reduced, giving a less distorted sound.

Improved cabinet bracing
Working alongside HPE is P2P bracing. P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing is deployed to enhance rigidity and further reduce cabinet distortion. Reducing cabinet distortion lets the drive units operate at their optimum, giving a cleaner, more focused sound.
