Bluetooth and RCA phono inputs, pre-amp output
Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, you can wirelessly connect to a vast range of music options. Link with your smartphone, tablet, laptop and home computer and stream from your favourite music app or stored library. Many modern TVs now also output via Bluetooth, making this a great way to bridge the gap between your TV and passive speakers. For regular sources, such as a CD player, there’s also a familiar RCA phono input. For added versatility, the BT20A Pro also features a 3.5mm pre-amp output – ideal for connecting a larger power amp as a future update.
Upgradeable sound
Although impressive for its price, straight from the box, the BT20A Pro’s sound quality can be further enhanced via a DIY component upgrade. Replacing the op-amps with optional (at extra cost) SparkoS Labs devices gives more detailed, higher resolution sound. The upgrade is solder-free, with the components simply pushing into place.
Powerful sound
Packing 100 watts per channel (with 4 ohm speakers and 32V supply), this tiny amp has the power to match many full-size components, meaning you still get the potential for deep, room-filling sound from your choice of speakers. Upgrade the power transformer beyond the supplied PSU and the power output gets a further boost. Separate bass and treble controls let you finetune the sound to perfection.
