Connect the Solo to your internet connection via wi-fi and enjoy a wide range of music streaming options. For Apple users there’s AirPlay 2, with Chromecast for Android devices, letting you effortlessly stream from your smartphone or tablet. For seamless music streaming from your premium Spotify account, it’s also compatible with Spotify Connect. For a direct link with your device, you can simply connect via Bluetooth.

Multiroom compatibility
As well as being a versatile music streamer, the Solo also works within a variety of multiroom systems. In addition to using it within your AirPlay 2 or Chromecast ecosystems, it’s also Roon Ready. Integrate into your Roon multiroom system and you can enjoy Hi-Res music, played all around your home, from a Roon command system.

Compatible with Hi-Res Audio music files
With a Dual Core ARM Cortex processor at its heart, the Solo has the processing power to handle Hi-Res audio files. Used within a Roon system it will wirelessly stream music files at up to 24 bit/192kHz (24 bit/96kHz with Chromecast and CD quality with AirPlay).

Rock-solid wireless connectivity
For a stable and reliable wireless connection, Argon Audio has fitted the Solo with dual band AC wi-fi, using diversity antennas. The internal antennas are positioned so that they cover 360 degrees around the device, yet don’t interfere with the analogue circuits, helping to further reduce potential distortion.

Output to hi-fi, AV or active speakers
Fitted with both analogue and digital outputs, the Solo easily connects to a wide range of hi-fi, AV and active speakers. Connect to your hi-fi system or active speakers’ AUX input via traditional RCA interconnects, or use the optical or coaxial digital outputs to link to an AV receiver or digital hi-fi system.
