Streaming system with valve-based sound
The TAGA Harmony HTR-1500CD perfectly combines the best of the old and new hi-fi technologies. Working via a range of apps, it supports a wide variety of music streaming services, including Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect. It also has Bluetooth connectivity, a CD player, DAB+ tuner and more. For sound with warmth and punch, it uses a hybrid valve and Class D system.
Valve pre-amp for warm sound
Utilising two, high performance ECC83 PSVANE valves in the pre-amp section, the HTR-1500CD has the warm and fluid sound that only valves can replicate. Thanks to the transparent facia window, you can see them glowing, creating a visual warmth to match the sound.
The power to impress
As a hybrid amp, the HTR-1500CD V.3 uses a 60 watt Class D power amp section. This gives it power and punch, perfectly complementing the warm, smooth sonic signature from the valve pre-amp. For a bass boost, you can add your choice of active subwoofer via the dedicated output.
Stream music your way
Connect via wi-fi or RJ45 Ethernet and you open up a wide range of music streaming options. Connect directly to Spotify Connect or TIDAL Connect, or use with third party apps, such as 4STREAM or WiiM Home and enjoy services such as Deezer. You can also stream music across your network using the DLNA and UPnP protocols.
Wireless playback, with Bluetooth
For a quick and easy link to your smartphone or tablet, the HTR-1500CD is also equipped with a Bluetooth receiver.
Your choice of radio – Internet, DAB+ and FM
Whichever way you enjoy your radio, the TAGA Harmony has you covered. Internet radio gives you access to stations from around the world. DAB+ offers crisp, low distortion sound and covers the wide range of digital stations, including the popular BBC Radio 6 Music and Radio 4 Extra. For local stations or areas that struggle to receive a digital signal, there’s also FM tuning. For easy station recall, there are 30 DAB+ and 20 FM presets.
CD player
Ideal for playing your treasured CD collection, the built-in Compact Disc player works with a variety of formats. Compatible with CD-R, CD-RW, WMA and MP3-encoded discs, the player is perfect for keeping your existing CD collection in play.
USB music playback and charging
This versatile system also features a USB interface. Connect up your USB media device and you can access a massive range of stored music - and all in direct digital quality. The USB interface is compatible with a wide range of file types including AAC-LC, APE, FLAC, MP3, WAV, WMA. As well as playing back music, the USB interface also charges your device.
Connect up your digital devices
With one coaxial and two optical digital inputs, you can link to your TV, games console and more. Digital connectivity enhances the sound from your components as they can take advantage of the MS4344 DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) onboard the system.
Connect a turntable and more
As well as featuring an array of digital inputs, the HTR-1500CD also has four analogue inputs, including one dedicated to a turntable (with MM cartridge). Two line level inputs add versatility, while the 3.5mm input at the front is ideal for connecting to a portable device.
