From the tip of its premium Ortofon cartridge to the base of it’s sturdy plinth, the Argon Audio Aurora is a thoroughly engineered turntable that also happens to be a pleasure to use.

The perfect blend of sound and ease of use
With a fast-acting direct drive mechanism, switchable speeds and auto-stop function, the Argon Audio Aurora makes for a great user experience. Ease of use hasn’t come at the expense of sound quality, however. The substantial build damps away vibrations, while the ATS-equipped tonearm tracks with precision. Supplied with the premium Ortofon Concorde Music Blue, the Aurora is ready to shine.

3-speed design – ideal for varied record collections
Switchable between 33, 45 and 78 rpm, the Aurora suits all types of records. If you’ve a collection of 78s, simply attach a dedicated 78 rpm cartridge (not supplied) for the best playback results.

Direct drive with auto stop option
Featuring a direct drive mechanism, the Aurora is user friendly and fast to spin up to speed. The design also facilitates an auto-stop feature, preventing the stylus from catching at the end of the vinyl. If you prefer to not use this, it can be switched off at the rear of the deck.

Engineered for sonic excellence
With its deep, rigid plinth and isolating feet, the Aurora resists vibrations and foot fall impact in the room for skip-free playback. Furthermore, the substantial aluminium platter is fitted with a thick rubber mat to further damp vibrations. Two striking finishes are available – real walnut veneer or satin black with copper highlights.

Classic, S-shaped tonearm
The Aurora features a classic S-shape tonearm, which delivers supremely accurate tracking. Fitted with Argon Audio’s ATS (Anisotropic Torsion Stabilizer) technology, the tonearm resists resonances that can cause ‘ringing’. The result is the purest, least coloured sound possible. For easy adjustment, it features accurate weight and anti-skating adjustment, letting you match it to a wide range of different cartridges.

Fitted with premium Ortofon cartridge
Fitted with the classic Ortofon Concorde cartridge, there’s no need for a separate headshell, as it’s built into the cartridge. The supplied Music Blue stylus is a premium model, with Nude Elliptical stylus that gets deep into the record’s groove for detailed and dynamic playback. If you want to upgrade, simply slide the stylus off and fit Ortofon’s Bronze, Black or Black LVB 250 models.

Built-in phono pre-amp for flexible connectivity
For near universal connectivity, the Aurora features a switchable phono pre-amp. This means you can wire the deck up to any hi-fi or speaker system with an ‘AUX’ input, with no extra devices required. If you have a dedicated phono pre-amp, or a higher quality one fitted to your existing amp, you can simply switch off the one in the turntable.

Enjoy powerful sound from a perfectly engineered turntable, with the Argon Audio Aurora.
