Small but powerful-sounding, the Monitor Audio Radius 200 is a home cinema hero.

Home cinema excellence

As part of the award-winning R90 HT1 home cinema speaker package, the Radius 200 has a superb reputation for home cinema excellence. With so much of a film's soundtrack coming through the centre speaker it's of the utmost importance to use a quality speaker.

Monitor Audio quality
The latest Radius centre speaker comes with a gold C-CAM dome tweeter. This gives the ideal balance between detail and smoothness. Upper frequencies stay clear and uncongested - even at high volume levels where inferior designs begin to distort. Although compact, the powerful C-CAM woofers used in the Radius 200 punch well beyond their weight, giving soundtracks real bite. The crisp, 'open' sound is also ideal for being able to clearly hear dialogue.

Riffled port for controlled bass
To boost the bass, the Radius 200 speaker is fitted with a rear bass port. The innovative HiVe II port design features riffled grooves to help reduce air turbulence. It's this that helps give the Radius 200 a sound that's both fast and powerful.

Luxurious finish
With smooth, seamless edges and neat detailing, the Radius 200 is a premium quality centre speaker. Available in real walnut veneer or high gloss black or white it's finished to a very high standard and complements the smartest decors.

Flexible positioning
At just 33cm wide and 14cm deep, the Radius 200 fits the tightest spaces where other centre speakers simply won't go. Ideal for racks or open cabinets, the Radius 200 is easy to place.

A high quality but compact centre speaker, the Radius 200 has much to offer.

Speaker Enclosure Type
Bass reflex - rear port
Type of speaker enclosure. Infinite baffle cabinets are sealed and so are often less fussy about placement. Usually they do require a little more power to drive, though. Bass reflex speakers are usually more efficient than infinite baffle designs but may require more care in terms of placement. Rear port designs, in particular, usually need at least 15-30cm (6 - 12 inches) between them and the wall behind, for a balanced bass response. ABR = Auxcillary Bass Radiator (looks like a standard bass cone but without power)
Connections
