We have been encouraging our customers to do just that for years because, not only are our prices significantly cheaper than our competitors, but just look at what else we include:
Free loan machine (only if taken back to store)
Should you encounter a problem, just ask and you'll be provided with a unit to ensure you're not without music whilst your equipment is being fixed.
Like for like machine if unit is unrepairable
If, for any reason, we are unable to repair your unit, we'll replace it. Naturally, models do change so, while we can't guarantee that it will be the same model, we do guarantee that it will have equivalent specifications.
Free routine service / Maintenance checks
have your unit serviced as often as you wish, free of charge, during the 6 year period. (Normally excluded from extended guarantees).
45 day cooling off period
If you're not happy with our 6 Year Supercare package just ask for a full refund - no questions asked. After 45 days, providing no claim has been made, you can also terminate the agreement and receive a pro-rata refund.
If you use the policy in the 6 years, you'll have saved yourself tens and perhaps hundreds of pounds. If you don't use it...IT WON'T COST YOU A THING!*
* Simply return your unused Supercare policy within one month of the expiration date, and we'll refund the price of your warranty. Terms and Conditions

Might meets merit with the impressively equipped Cambridge CXR200.

Power up

Boasting a mightily impressive 200 watts per channel (6 ohms/stereo) which reduces to a still storming 120 watts (8 ohms) with all seven channels driven, the CXR200 is amongst the most powerful AVRs (Audio/Visual Receiver) on the market. As a measure as to just how powerful this AVR is, with all seven channels driven, the CXR200 has twice the power of the Cambridge CXR120 - itself hardly the most weedy of AV receivers. Such power offers several advantages. First up, even the largest rooms hold few problems for it. This sort of power is enough to fill small halls let alone the average domestic environment! Secondly, this level of power opens up your choice of matching speakers to a whole new level. Previously 'power hungry' designs can now be driven with effortless aplomb. Finally, the added power also improves the sound quality. Bass is deeper and more extended and dynamics have such impact that action films take on a whole new immediacy.

Bringing quality sound to home cinema
Whereas so many of the CXR200's competitors are packed with features but fall down badly on sound quality, this Cambridge AVR is different. Unlike others, Cambridge put sound quality at the very top of their priorities. Using fully discrete amplifiers which are kept separate from the processing and input stages, the CXR200 sounds more precise and detailed than rivals. Then there's the huge power supply and an oversize low flux toroidal transformer - an expensive component that's critical to a piece of 'real' audio equipment. This helps provide a powerful, sustained bass response as well as rip-roaring dynamics. Whether you're enjoying a moving soundtrack or music from an audio source, the CXR200 simply sounds more 'real' than the competition.

4K Upscaling
Taking video processing to the next level, the CXR200 can now upscale to 4K resolution. With 4K the horizontal pixel count of 1080p TV increases from 1920 to 3840. With 4K screens now firmly established, by equipping this receiver with 4K upscaling, Cambridge have engineered in comprehensive levels of future proofing. In the meantime you can also upscale signals to 1080p for the best image quality with Full HD TVs and projectors. The HDMI sockets also allow 4K pass-through, for hassle free switching and viewing without the receiver needing to be turned on.

Stream all you stored music - including high resolution files
With UPnP (Universal Plug n' Play) compatibility it's easy to connect the Cambridge CXR200 to your home network and stream from your NAS drive, hard drive, PC or laptop. The CXR200 accepts a wide range of files, including many high resolution formats. ALAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, WMA, MP3, AAC, HE AAC, AAC+ and OGG Vorbis are all supported, making this a highly flexible streaming solution.

Connect to internet radio and Spotify Connect
In addition to supporting thousands of, easy to access, Internet radio stations, the CXR200 is also compatible with the most popular music streaming services. Spotify is the world's most popular streaming service and the CXR200 has Spotify Connect integrated into it. If you subscribe to Spotify Premium, you can control the Cambridge with the powerful Spotify Connect app on your phone or tablet. Should you prefer other music services, the CXR200 also supports Napster, BBC iPlayer for radio, Aupeo! Pandora and Rhapsody.

DSD via HDMI
Designed for use with SACDs (Super Audio Compact Disc), DSD (Direct-Stream Digital) is a high resolution audio format that's available on many Blu-ray and universal DVD players. It offers sound quality that matches the best high resolution formats and is available from a wide range of SACD discs.

Optional Bluetooth
In addition to comprehensive streaming capabilities over LAN, Wi-Fi and USB, the CXN is also compatible with Bluetooth via an optionally available dongle. Connect up the optional BT100 dongle and you'll be able to stream your music from any smartphone, tablet or other device with Bluetooth built-in.

Complete zone 2 control
Like the smaller, CXR120 model, the '200 has twin HDMI outputs. Unlike the '120, however, these work completely separately from one another for totally independent Zone 2 control. This allows you watch or listen to another source in another room (may require additional audio amplification), giving multi-room flexibility from a single powerhouse.

Flexible connectivity including 8 HDMI inputs
The Cambridge CXN200 boasts a class-leading eight HDMI inputs. Of these, one is mounted at the front and is also compatible with MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link). This lets you connect up your compatible smartphone and get the best possible transfer link for HD content. Other inputs include a 7.1 multi-channel analogue direct input that's ideal for use with your existing AV processor. Plus there's a comprehensive selection of optical, coaxial and analogue RCA inputs for a huge range of other sources. Finally, twin subwoofer outputs make this a true 7.2-channel AVR, with the ability to drive two subwoofers for a more even spread of powerful bass around your listening room.

Power with precision plus features and flexibility; the Cambridge CXR200 is perhaps the ultimate AVR that has it all.
