Complete the highest quality home cinema speaker system, with the Dali Opticon Vokal.

Ribbon tweeter for superb vocal reproduction

The Opticon Vokal uses a ribbon tweeter paired with a more conventional dome tweeter for sensational results. With the ribbon tweeter handling the very highest frequencies - most of which can't even be heard by the human ear - the conventional tweeter is freed up to handle lower frequencies. This means less harmonic compression and a high frequency that can 'breathe'. What you hear is an effortless treble performance full of rich detail and free from harshness.

Audiophile-grade drive units for the finest sound
Matching up with the impressive tweeter array, the Opticon Vokal also features a low-loss, wood fibre woofer that's based on Dali's reference grade Epicon speakers. This high quality woofer offers low distortion and a natural reproduction for sound exactly as the director intended.

Dali in-house cabinets made to the highest standards
Rather than 'buying in' cabinets, Dali produces the Opticon cabinets in-house. This means they can be sure of the quality and consistency of build. The solid cabinets have been designed for low levels of resonance, giving low distortion and helping to promote a natural sound. Front-firing bass reflex ports make the speaker more efficient and also allow it to be easily placed in a TV cabinet without adversely affecting the sound. Finished in black, white or walnut, there's a cabinet finish to match your decor.

Don't compromise on the quality of your home cinema dialogue. Hear it as it was meant to sound with the Dali Opticon Vokal.

Speaker Enclosure TypeType of speaker enclosure. Infinite baffle cabinets are sealed and so are often less fussy about placement. Usually they do require a little more power to drive, though. Bass reflex speakers are usually more efficient than infinite baffle designs but may require more care in terms of placement. Rear port designs, in particular, usually need at least 15-30cm (6 - 12 inches) between them and the wall behind, for a balanced bass response.
