Angled Driver System for a spacious, natural sound

Unlike most headphones, the EAH-T700 angles its drive units at the optimal angle. Both the 50mm dynamic drivers and 14mm Super Tweeters are angled in such a way as to provide the optimal 'flow' to your ears. The result is a superbly precise, spacious sound that gives an 'out of head' experience - especially unusual from a closed-back design.

Powerful bass response
Using an advanced MLF (Multi-Layer Film) diaphragm and newly-designed magnetic circuits, these Technics headphones not only offer a powerful punch but also real detail and texture from the bass. A bass guitar, for example, actually sounds like a bass guitar rather than just a bass 'thump'.

Hi-Res Super Tweeters for sublime detail
Partnering the impressive bass is an equally impressive treble response. So that the treble can do justice to high resolution recordings, these headphones have their own Super-Tweeters, dedicated to wringing out every ounce of high-end detail. If it's in the recording, the Technics will reveal it.

Anti-Vibration design for low distortion
For the best sound quality, isolation is key. With the EAH-T700s the main drivers are mounted through a damping material to the housing, with floating structures locating its positioning. When combined this isolates the critical drive units from any vibrations within the rest of the headphones, helping to reduce distortion.

Luxurious aluminium finish
Usually reserved for race car wheels and aircraft, the EAH-T700 uses wrought aluminium for its main structure. This not only looks and feels luxurious but also increases rigidity for enhanced sound.

Designed for comfort
For the long term listening comfort, these Technics headphones use GRANCUIR material for the earpads. This is less prone to 'stick' than leather, making them more comfortable in all conditions. It's also lighter, helping to reduce the overall weight of the headphones. A precisely adjustable, fully padded headband keeps the phones securely and comfortably located for hours at a time.
