Focused on quality sound
Although it’s easy to use, that doesn’t mean that sound quality has been compromised. An upgraded motor powers a metal platter, giving smooth and stable sound. The sturdy MDF plinth helps isolate the mechanism, for a natural sound, uncoloured by vibrations.
Built-in phono pre-amp for flexible connectivity
For near universal connectivity, the TT MK2 features a built-in phono pre-amp. This means you can wire the deck up to any hi-fi or speaker system with an ‘AUX’ input, with no extra devices required (RCA cable supplied but your system may require an RCA to 3.5mm adapter).
Complete package – with tonearm and Audio Technica cartridge supplied
Fitted with an adjustable, aluminium tonearm, the TT MK2 is all set for precise and accurate tracking. Part of the standard package also includes a pre-fitted Audio Technica AT3600 cartridge. This top brand budget cartridge gives a smooth, detailed sound that’s at home with all types of music.
Simple speed change
With many decks in this class you either have no speed control or a fiddly twin pulley system that means you manually have to move the belt from one pulley to another. With the TT MK2 however, you get a simple switch that adjusts between 33 and 45 speeds at the click of a dial. If you have a decent collection of singles and regularly switch speeds, switchable speed control makes all the difference to your user experience.

Top quality sound
As active speakers, the Fenris A5s have four, individual amps for each drive unit. Each tweeter has 25 watts, with 50 watts for each of the woofers. Combined with a DSP (Digital Signal Processor), you get highly effective, punchy sound that’s perfectly balanced between all the frequencies. Rear bass ports improve bass efficiency for a more full-bodied sound, especially at lower volumes.
Boost the sound with optional subwoofer
If you want to boost the bass further, simply connect your choice of active subwoofer via the pre output. Argon Audio’s own range of subs provide the perfect match and are available in different sizes to suit your room size and taste.
Connect your TV
Working as a huge upgrade to most TV speakers and as a flexible alternative to a soundbar, the Fenris A5’s HDMI ARC socket is the ideal way to connect your TV. As this is an ARC (Audio Return Channel) socket, your TV’s remote control still operates the speakers’ volume, making it easy to enjoy better sound, without the need for extra remotes.
Connect your turntable
If you’d prefer to spin a record, the Fenris A5’s phono input is ideal. Compatible with MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge-equipped turntables, it means that you can plug most decks straight in, without the need for any auxiliary pre-amp boxes.
Perfect for your CD player, games console and more
As well as accepting a TV and turntable, the Fenris A5 also has analogue and optical digital inputs for a wide range of other sources. The AUX input is perfect for older components, such as a tuner or CD player without digital output. An optical input is also standard – perfect for a games console, set-top TV box or even a Blu-ray/DVD/CD player.
Bluetooth for wireless connectivity
In addition to the Fenris A5’s comprehensive selection of wired inputs, there’s also wireless Bluetooth. This convenient wireless connection makes it quick and easy to pair with your smartphone, tablet or laptop and stream music or podcasts from your favourite streaming services. Thanks to its USB charger, you can even charge your device, as well.
