Using acrylic instead of plastic, wood or metal, the LPA2’s plinth and patter work in perfect sonic harmony. The high material density effectively damps vibrations, reducing background noise for a quieter backdrop. A quieter backdrop means that subtle details shine through, letting you hear previously unheard parts of your favourite music. Heavy-duty feet isolate the deck from vibrations.

Outboard power supply for speed precision and lower distortion
With the power supply isolated within its own box, electrical interference is greatly reduced. Isolating the sensitive audio components from power supply noise, results in a cleaner, more accurate sound. The high quality supply is also connected to an optical sensor which monitors the rotation speed to maintain absolute speed precision and pitch stability. The dedicated power supply offers easy switching between 33 and 45 speeds.

Newly designed, high spec tonearm
Newly developed to match the LPA2’s potential, the supplied tonearm delivers ultra-precise tracking. Constructed from carbon-fibre it’s incredibly rigid and light – both qualities that help extract the maximum tracking performance. Adjustable for VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle) it’s suitable for use with other cartridge brands. A detachable, machined aluminium headshell with azimuth adjustment makes it easy to upgrade or change over cartridges…
